Yesterday I received the G2 Throttle Tube for my Yamaha FJR 1300AE with factory installed heated grips. As promised I would provide you some feedback regarding the operation of the heated grips with the G2 Throttle Tube. Well, the heated grips work unchanged with the G2 Throttle tube, both handles emit the same level of heat and thus the fact that the G2 Throttle Tube is aluminum has no effect. I have attached two pictures showing the readout of an infra red thermometer of both the left and right handle.
