- Awesome addition for my KX450! Review by WAM

I trail ride in the mountains of West Virginia and the G2 Throttle Tamer has made a significant difference in controlling my KX450 on tight trails. It took me a couple rides to get used to the shift in cable pull that changes at about about 1/3 twist. It is not that the bike takes off like a power band kicking at 1/3 throttle, but does change.Overall Satisfaction
The quality of the throttle tube is top notch. It took about 20 minutes to install and fit perfectly. I highly the G2 Throttle Tamer this to anyone trying get more control over a large bike. I actually had my KLX450R up for sale to downsize to a 250 due to the abrupt throttle response in the tight stuff as well as tired hands and arms. The G2 Dirt Tamer totally smoothed out the "hit" making my bike much more controllable, able to maintain traction and a pleasure to ride. Super fast shipping and fantastic customer service too. I highly recommend G2. (Posted on 3/8/12)Overall Satisfaction - EXCELLENT ! Review by Dan

My feelings on it are pretty positive. I currently have the 300 cam on it and I am thinking I wont even try the 400 for a while. My bike is a 2011, so no "snatchy" throttle like earlier models. I did have about 3000 miles of off road with the bike prior to install and now have about 200 after.Overall Satisfaction
Pro- it does help a bit for the off idle creeping. Here again it was not excessive prior to install. where it shines is standing riding (which I do a lot of) in the rough stuff, if I am being beat around and twitching the throttle a bit-its not getting herky-jerky.
Con- really not any "cons" it does take a little getting used to when on gravel roads and doing a lot of twisting in and out of the turns. Gives it more of a abrupt power band feeling (which is fine). I assume it is due to the cam design pulling more cable after a 1/3 turn or so.
Fit- was really really nice ! I owned a fab shop so I am a little picky on fit and finish- these guys got their act together ! excellent workmanship - I mean EXCELLENT !
Would I recommend it to others - Yes , but like cool aid flavors (ie: motorcycle brands/oil/tires) every one can make their own decision based on their own experience, I am just stating my experience and satisfaction with the product.
We ride year round, mostly dirt and adventure dual sport riding between Nevada-Colorado and I like to promote good products.

Installed the Throttle Tamer on my '09 TE 450, best improvement to the bike I've made so far, made the bike much more controllable on tight trails and "whoops". Total install and adjustment took about 1/2 hr. This is a great product! and its made in the USA! (Posted on 1/31/11)Overall Satisfaction - Fantastic product.and well made. Review by T-roy

My crf450 was just too snappy for me, especially offroad. It was just too much work and would wear me out.Overall Satisfaction
Put the g2 on and it's heaven. the best mod I've put on my bike and you can swap cams in minutes.
Highly recommend. (Posted on 1/31/11) - Well made and functional device Review by pyarnall

I have installed two Throttle Tamers to date; both on KTMs. My 990 Adventure has very poor mapping coming off idle making it "snatchy". My KTM 250 XCF-W, though carbureted, utilizes an aggressive accelerator pump with a short throw to wide open. It too is "snatchy" coming off idle. Hard to hold steady throttle at very light engine loading. In both cases the Tamer eases this behavior. Does not "cure" either bike, but it helps noticeably. They are extremely well made and very easy to install. (Posted on 11/18/10)Overall Satisfaction
