I recently installed a G2 throttle tube and cam on my '00 Husky 610TE. I love my big yellow tractor but often in tight trail situations the power is(was) so abrupt that I found myself blazing new trails through the underbrush or testing the brush guards against trees! I decided to do something about it since I'm not getting any younger but the bike is as snappy as ever. I did some research and decided to call G2. The person answering the phone was named Sam. He listened to my tales of woe and suggested a tube and cam combo that should help me out. They soon came in the mail and I installed them on a Saturday night. It went together nicely but I found the throttle stuck solid at about 3/4 turn. I took the throttle housing apart to find the cam/cable was binding on the cover. I emailed G2 on a Sunday describing my situation and sent pics of the location of the binding. I expected a reply during the next business day/week but the reply came almost instantly from Sam's Blackberry. He explaind the the throttle housing on my bike must be the model KTM had used on their 65SX and looked identical to mine just more compact. He requested my mailing address and promptly sent 2 different cams to fit the smaller housing, a new full sized housing and a new cam with even slower pull rate. He said to use what ever combo suited my needs and send the rest back with G2 paying postage both directions. That, my friends, is the true definition of customer service. Now that the bike is a lot calmer in the tight stuff I'll need to blame something else for my consistantly blowing through the corners and tapping tree trunks.Other companies make similar products but you'd be hard pressed to get such personal service as I did at G2.

This cam system is the best. It has made riding my two older two stoke 250's much more enjoyable (at 42 I can now ride much longer because I am not as tired from holding on for dear life all the time, now I can choose when to be balls out). It also helps the bikes become much more adaptable to changing conditions and riding styles. They are well worth the price. - (Posted on 11/10/11)

I have been running the G2 throttles since 2006. I love them. I have them on my 450s now that I run in the AMA Pro series. I've started running the hand guards this year and they have worked really well. (Posted on 11/10/11)

KTM 450 XC-F Review by Tim

I bought a 2008 KTM 450 XC-F, and while I love the power and torque, it was almost too much for tighter trails and slippery situations. But in Arizona, you have to have the power because there is also so much sand riding. The 400 cam proved to be the perfect complement for that bike, and it didn't take anything away from my ability to take the bike to the track and ride motocross where the traction IS good, either. I'll have one of these on every carbureted bike I own now, no kidding. (Posted on 11/10/11)
