Quarter Turn Throttle for Harley by G2 Review Video

You know the feeling! You are cruising along your favorite two lane country road when you come up to that family Winnebago… great. Your wrist is comfortable where it is, but you want to pass this monstrosity so you do what we all do and let off the throttle completely to re-grip or you roll the throttle from your palm to your fingers to get the power you need. The reason we have to do this is that the stock profile of the Harley throttle has a continuous throttle cam progression to reach full throttle. G2 Ergonomics saw this as a problem and set out to improve on Harley’s existing throttle design by creating the Quarter Turn Throttle for Harley.

The G2 Quarter Turn Throttle for Harley works by keeping the existing cam profile of the stock Harley throttle for 1/4 of the initial turn, then we modified the progression of the throttle cam to ramp up to full throttle in the second half of the turn. This is demonstrated here in this video.

The main advantage of the G2 Quarter Turn Throttle for Harley is you are getting the same feel as your Harley stock throttle until you need the power of the 1/4 turn. This is key for people with limited wrist flexibility, prior injuries that restrict movement, and those who don’t want to shift their hand while on the road to achieve full power.
