Lighter Pull with the One Cable Throttle Conversion Kit for Gas Gas

The One Cable Throttle Conversion Kit for Gas Gas dramatically lightens the throttle pull of the newer “silver-colored” throttle housings. The stock cables creates friction as they contact the inside of the housing resulting in a “stiff” pull and hand fatigue on long rides. Some riders simply remove the “push” cable, but that achieves little, as the friction on the pull cable remains unchanged. By replacing with this one cable kit, friction is reduced in two ways. First, a pulley is incorporated to eliminate friction – no cables sliding against the inner throttle housing! Second, the the ultra-smooth G2 Throttle Tube with self-lubricating Delrin bushings in each end prevent the aluminum tube from galling against the handlebar. These bushings require no lubrication and won’t rust and freeze up like ball bearing systems! The result is a far lighter pull and less hand fatigue!

Keep in mind, this One Cable Throttle Conversion Kit for Gas Gas has a throttle tube with the unique G2 interlock. This means you can choose from several G2 cam sizes (sold separately) if you decide a change is needed for mud, technical terrain, etc. The G2 Throttle Tube is fitted with a 690 cam that is the same ratio as the stock GRAY pulley. If you really want something quicker, add on our 650x cam to get a 15% quicker turn! If control is your goal, the best option is our 700x cam!
