Adjust throttle control on your Honda motorcycle when changing track or trail conditions. Included are 3 cams for different terrain.
The G2 Throttle Cam System for Honda allows you to fine tune hand movement/rotation to what happens at the carburetor/throttle body. Why would you want to change this ratio? Imagine the pointer on your computer had only one speed with no adjustment. Chances are it would be annoyingly slow or so fast you would over shoot everything you want to click! At G2 Ergonomics, we wondered why one throttle ratio is expected to work for every rider! Whether your a beginner, an expert, riding a 250 2 stroke or a 450, most throttle ratios are basically same! It’s really pretty crazy when you think about it! In fact, eight time National Enduro Champ Mike Lafferty constantly changed his G2 cams depending on terrain and average speeds!
The system includes a stock ratio cam and two progressive cams that incorporate a non-linear ratio between hand throttle rotation and carburetor or throttle body opening. The “pulley”, or as we call it, “cam” pulls the throttle cable as the rider rotates the grip/tube. By altering the conventional, circular shaped cam, a vast improvement in control is achieved. For those who want something quicker, check out our Quick Turn Throttle!
The Throttle Cam System has cam options with reduced radius for the first ½ of throttle rotation, which requires a slightly farther turn to achieve the same carburetor or throttle body opening position as a stock throttle. This slightly longer pull makes a HUGE difference in rider control as the power is rolled on. The system comes with a “100CAM” – same as stock, “200CAM” – starts out 10% smaller than stock and “400CAM” – starts out 20% smaller than stock. The radius of the 200CAM and 400CAM increases or “ramps up” to stock size at ½ throttle to keep overall rotation required to reach full throttle at or near stock rotation.
The ONLY 2 Stroke Quick Turn System for Honda on the market! Includes throttle housing, throttle tube and cam.
Reduced ratio = quicker throttle response for Honda bikes. For competition use only.
Increase throttle response on your Honda motorcycle while decreasing throttle rotation (less turn).
Replace your stock Honda plastic throttle tube with USA-machined aluminum and Delrin bushings.
Smoother power delivery with the G2 Dirt Tamer for Honda .Progressive shaped throttle provides better control in technical situations.
Elminates throttle snatch on Honda street bikes.

I just recently started using the G2 throttle on my Honda dirt tracker and it works awesome. Now I will be putting them on the rest of my bikes from here on out.

Super high quality, with a tight fit on the cam to throttle tube. Easy to install, and the bushings help for smooth action for sure. I thought I wanted the 200 cam, but so far I have just been running the stock ratio cam. Even though I am not currently using the modified cams, it is great to have the option, and they are really easy to swap.

I put this throttle on my ’82 Honda MB5. It’s only a 50cc, so needless to say it has to be run at full throttle at all times to keep it in the powerband. I was tired of twisting for miles with the stock throttle, so I tried one of these G2 units.
It’s awesome. Easy to install, all of the important parts are made out of metal, and it has significantly less twist than the stock throttle. Due to the reduced wrist movement, my throttle response is much faster and I can now pop wheelies on my 50cc! I was not able to do this prior to installing this throttle.

Fits really well. Finish is very good. The cams are a tight fit, no chance they will be going anywhere. I’m using the 400 which is a 20% reduced throttle up to half throttle. It really helps for slow speed tricky riding where stock was too twitchy. Was very impressed, so I went and bought a quick action throttle for my track bike as well.

Easy to install, with the exception of the rubber cover from the stock unit. Very sturdy which is the attribute for which I bought it, unlikely to damage the tube. Gives the bike a snappier feel as to be expected when the WOT distance is shortened. Happy with this add-on.

Great product! Did exactly as I was hoping it would do! Great fit, great finish! And fast shipping with great customer support to back it all up.

Love this product! I am totally surprised. I ride in the mountains on rocky trails; the first significant improvement I noticed was when going up steep rocky trails was the required throttle pull back to throttle demand ratio was substantially reduced. This made it easier to keep the engine at the optimum RPM for climbing. The product was easy to install. And the original rubber boot cover fit the same.

Is very safe to use. You don t Need to forgrip on very steep hills. Easy to install.

I have a bad wrist , this throttle eliminates the hand fatigue I was experiencing with the stock throttle .

I got the throttle cam kit for my 2019 CRF450L. It has a touchy stock throttle and is hard to modulate smoothly on rocky trails. The 200 cam that comes with this kit was perfect for me. It has smoothed out initial throttle response and maintained the snappy characteristic I like through the rest of the range. The machining work on this piece is excellent. I had to trim my throttle tube to fit on the bar. It took just a few minutes with a dremel.

The best throttle by a long shot

Great product.

What did Jimmy twister work with a bark buster guard that screws on the end of the grip eyeball sides?
I can’t see it working the bark Buster’s.
Please inform.
Thanks

Hi, the Jimmy Twister does NOT work with enduro-style full wrap handguards. If you ordered these by mistake, we have no problem to accept a return. Thanks! Gary

It transformed the fueling on my CRF450L from snappy to smooth. No more stalls as well. Wish I would of tried this before I spent $1k on a Vortex ECU
