14 years ago, riding buddies Sam Wancket and Gary Gibbs were talking about the challenge of putting power to the ground. Both expert riders, they fully understood that cutting lap times is directly related to the amount of speed a rider can carry through the corners. The art of applying just enough throttle to carry maximum corner speed without losing traction is the single greatest asset a rider can possess.

Their brainstorming session quickly inspired a throttle system of changeable pulleys (which G2 was first to call “cams”) in stock, quick and progressive shapes. G2 was the original aftermarket throttle to offer a progressive shaped cam, which is used by more professional street, motocross, enduro and dirt track racers than ANY other throttle!

G2’s goal is to make throttles that work WITH your stock throttle housing and stock throttle cables! With G2, you can change the throttle action WITHOUT having to switch to inferior quality throttle housings and cables! G2 now has over 200 cam shapes developed specifically for most models – this is definitely no “cookie cutter” system!

In a very short time, G2 Ergonomics has aggressively expanded its products. The line is far more than dirt bike throttles! G2 now offers sprockets, grips, chains, handguards, carb spacers, perch spacers, street bike throttles, brake caliper coolers, UTV brake pads and even quick turn throttles for Harleys! Still, G2 has never lost site of its goal to ONLY offer products that bridge the gap between rider skill and machine performance.
