Street Throttle Tamer for Kawasaki
The G2 Street Tamer Tube for Kawasaki incorporates a non-linear ratio between right hand rotation and carburetor or EFI opening. The pulley portion of the Tamer tube connects to ands pulls the cable as the rider rotates the grip/tube. By altering the conventional, circular shaped pulley, a vast improvement in control is achieved and that snatchy/jerky power characteristic common with Kawasaki (and most other modern fuel injected street motorcycles) is drastically reduced.
The G2 Street Tamer Tube for Kawasaki has a pulley with a reduced radius initially, which requires a slightly farther rotation to achieve the same carburetor or throttle body opening position as a stock throttle. This virtually eliminates the jerky “throttle snatch” especially evident in modern fuel injected street bikes. The radius increases or ramps up after ½ throttle to keep overall rotation required to reach full throttle at or near stock rotation.
For most models the Throttle Tamer includes our “400 style” progressive profile, but some will have alternative profiles. The profile shape proven to be the best all-round solution for each model is used.

Fairly easy to install and toned down the sketchy throttle response.

The trotle tamer it self works well. I didnt like that i had to turn the trotle some more for the same respons, of cours i new that but i didn’t like that so mutch but the trotle tamer was mutch smother than the standard trotle so that was god. I ges you never Get it all but i think the trotle tamer its a great thing. If it had bean easier to instal heated grips, it would have been better. You dont ned to make them so Nice with aluminium. For heated grips make them with only plastikk, then it would have been easier to install Best regards Jarle

Great quality,excellent machining. I have a tremor in my throttle hand that makes it impossible for smooth throttle control any longer. Throttle tamer has helped but didn’t eliminate my issue. It makes my riding safer for sure.

The name says it all! Fuel injected bikes have a very “linear” throttle personality-many are too quick in the first 1/4 turn, which makes these bikes seem jerky. Throttle Tamer is THE fix!

Very happy, helped out with softening initial throttle response down low on the H2. Much nicer to ride in slow twisty stuff and taking off from lights.
