G2 cut no corners in the development of our X1000 Series
Throttle Cables for KTM.  The inner wire, or free cable, is strong 304
stainless steel in a 7×7 wire winding. 
This wire is coated with ultra-slick and durable Teflon keeping your
throttle friction coefficient as low as possible!  The black cable “sheath” has a an outer PVC
material with an inner slippery, yet durable, HDPE tube to help the inner cable
slide friction free.

The G2 Throttle Kit Replacement Cables for KTM do not work with stock throttle housings or
controllers.  It is developed to work
with G2 Single Cable and Quick Turn Pro Throttle Kits.

CABLE LENGTHS

For most KTM models,
we have two cable length options:

BEHIND HANDLEBAR ROUTE – This is the stock KTM route where the cable is behind the handlebar, or
between the handlebar and rider.  The
cable will be approximately the same length as your stock cable.

FRONT HANDLEBAR ROUTE – This longer cable allows routing in
front of the handlebar, or between the handlebar and number
plate/headlight.  This is common on
Japanese dirt bikes.  If your stock cable
route is obstructed by a steering damper or you run handlebar risers, you may
benefit from a longer cable.  The cable
will be approximately 5” (127mm) longer than your stock cable.

THESE ARE NOT STOCK REPLACEMENT CABLES! Replacement cables for G2 Single Cable and Quick Turn Pro Throttle Kits. These cables allow you to replace those two cable systems with a better quality Domino single cable HR Cross or 4ST Throttle Controller. These single cable systems have a quicker action, and “snaps back” to a physical stop unlike the dull feel of the 2 cable systems. The Domino throttle controllers have a pulley to decrease friction, so your throttle will have a lighter overall feel. In addition, eliminating the return cable saves weight!
The Throttle Kit Replacement Cables for KTM uses a proprietary 7×7 stainless steel wire braid with a Teflon coating. This strong, coated inner cable glides effortlessly in a slick HDPE inner sheath. The next layer is a high-carbon steel winding to provide just the right amount of stiffness to maintain shape. To keep the cable looking new, the outside is protected with a black PVC outer cover.
